Almost 99% of the population in Morocco is muslims which also means consumption of alcohol is quite uncommon. The national drink of Morocco is Green Tea with mint which also has the nickname "Moroccan Whiskey".

You have probably heard about argan oil and maybe used it but did you know that the argan oil comes from the argan tree which is endemic to Morocco?

Morocco is the largest exporter of sardines in the world and they also export more than 112.000 tonnes of dates every year.


Morocco is a country located in North Africa and it boarders to the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco is the gateway to Africa and offers beaches, the Sahara desert, ancient cities and is also home to the beautiful Atlas mountain range. Morocco has a mix of Arabic, Berber and European influences. Get lost in the mazelike medinas and fill your bags with beautiful jewellery, scarfs and ceramics.
